Sulzer is looking for an FP&A Controller to join our Finance & Controlling team in Madrid, Spain. This role collaborates with international stakeholders and focuses on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for a newly established office in central Madrid.

You will drive profitability reporting, plan analytics, and strategic decision support while ensuring IFRS compliance and strong internal controls. Fluency in English is required.

Formación

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in FP&A or similar finance roles; exposure to industrial sector is a plus.
• Strong skills in financial modelling, forecasting, and data analytics; knowledge of global finance processes and standards; proficiency with Tagetik, Qlik, and/or integrated ERP systems is advantageous.
• Nice to have experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to deliver insights to leadership and collaborate with regional/global stakeholders; able to work independently.
• Fluency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and consolidate the annual budget and align with objectives.
• Refresh forecasts reflecting latest business trends and market conditions.
• Conduct profitability and performance reporting with key financial metrics.
• Perform plan analytics and risk assessments, improving FP&A processes.
• Provide financial recommendations to support strategic decisions.
• Manage collections reporting and analytics to support decision-making.
• Deliver reporting and analytics on procurement activities.
• Oversee period end close processes and reporting.
• Oversee CAPEX planning, forecasting, investment strategy, and reporting.
• Ensure IFRS compliance and strong internal controls.
• Comply with relevant QESH regulations.
