Sulzer is seeking an FP&A Controller in Madrid to support multiple entities across the EMEA region. You will lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning, provide insights from financial analysis, and partner with stakeholders to drive business performance.

The role requires 3–5 years in FP&A or Controlling, strong Excel skills and experience with planning tools. Fluency in English is mandatory; work in a dynamic, international setting at the Madrid Center of Excellence.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years in Financial Planning & Analysis or Controlling.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, modelling and performance analysis skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel; experience with Tagetik/Qlik Sense/Power BI or ERPs a plus.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning for assigned entities.
• Prepare monthly results, identify variances, risks and opportunities.
• Support management reporting with meaningful analysis and recommendations.
• Drive profitability analysis and monitor key financial metrics.
• Collaborate with Finance Partners and operational stakeholders for decisions.
• Monitor operating expenses, headcount, working capital and KPIs.
• Support month-end and year-end closing and CAPEX reporting.
• Ensure IFRS compliance, internal controls and finance policies.
• Improve reporting processes and dashboards through automation.
• Coordinate with global and regional Sulzer Finance teams.
