Sani/Ikos Group is seeking an Executive Housekeeping Manager in Estepona, Spain. You will lead the housekeeping department to deliver exceptional guest experiences, maintaining luxury standards across guest rooms and public areas.

This senior role requires hands-on leadership, strong operational knowledge, and a focus on quality and safety. You will recruit, train, and motivate multicultural teams, coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance, and oversee budgeting, inventory, and cost control

Qualifications

• Senior housekeeping leadership experience in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Hands-on leader with multicultural team experience.
• Strong operational knowledge of housekeeping, QA, health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public spaces; identify improvements and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to cleaning procedures, safety protocols and brand quality standards.
• Recruit, train, coach and evaluate housekeeping staff; develop team culture of respect and excellence.
• Lead daily briefings; allocate duties; monitor task execution; support supervisors in shift coordination.
• Plan staffing levels and work schedules based on occupancy forecasts and demand.
• Implement productivity tracking and workflow efficiency measures.
• Oversee inventory levels of linen, amenities, cleaning materials and equipment; coordinate procurement with Purchasing.

Operational Leadership & Quality Standards

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations to ensure high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene in guest rooms and public areas.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public spaces, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and brand quality standards.

Team Leadership & Seasonal Continuity

• Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate housekeeping staff to ensure skill development and consistent performance.
• Develop team culture built on respect, cooperation, and pride in work, supporting strong seasonal return rates.
• Lead daily briefings, allocate duties, monitor task execution, and support supervisors in shift coordination.

Productivity & Resource Optimization

• Plan staffing levels and work schedules in alignment with occupancy forecasts and operational demands.
• Implement productivity tracking and workflow efficiency measures.
• Ensure correct use, care, and maintenance of cleaning equipment and tools.

Inventory, Supplies & Cost Control

• Oversee inventory levels of linen, amenities, cleaning materials, and equipment.
• Ensure correct handling and cost-effective use of chemicals and supplies.
• Coordinate procurement needs with the Purchasing department and adhere to budgetary guidelines.

Guest Experience & Service Recovery

• Respond to guest requests, preferences, and housekeeping-related concerns with professionalism and discretion.
• Ensure timely resolution of service recovery situations and communicate follow-up to relevant teams.
• Support personalization efforts by coordinating with Guest Relations and Front Office.

Cross-Department Coordination

• Work closely with Front Office for accurate room status updates and readiness planning.
• Coordinate with Maintenance for repair needs and follow-up on deficiencies.
• Participate in Rooms Division operational planning and performance reviews.

Accountability

• Fully accountable for the Housekeeping function’s operational, quality, guest satisfaction, and cost performance.
• Responsible for maintaining a professional team culture and ensuring consistent delivery of cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Acts as key leader in guest room readiness and overall guest comfort.

About you

You have proven experience in a senior Housekeeping leadership role within a luxury hotel or resort. You are a passionate and hands‑on leader who knows how to inspire, develop, and engage multicultural teams while maintaining consistently high service standards. With strong operational knowledge of Housekeeping, including quality assurance, health and safety, inventory control, and productivity planning, you are confident managing day‑to‑day operations and driving efficiency. Highly organized and detail‑oriented, you have excellent communication and decision‑making skills and thrive in a fast‑paced environment where attention to detail and operational excellence are essential.
