Job summary

North Search is seeking an Operations Director to lead the supply chain for Spain and Portugal within an international consumer goods-focused organization. This executive position combines strategic vision with hands-on operational involvement across planning, logistics, and customer service.

You will manage demand planning, inventory, warehousing, and distribution, while leading a regional team and coordinating with Sales, Marketing, and Finance.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics or equivalent; a master's degree in Operations or Supply Chain is desirable.
• 8-10 years of experience in demand planning, logistics or supply chain, and at least 3-5 years leading teams.
• Experience in a product company with B2B sales and, preferably, in multi-country environments.
• Demand planning, S&OP and inventory management.
• ERP and warehouse management systems; data analysis and dashboards.
• Management of suppliers, carriers and logistics operators.
• Customer service and complaint handling.
• Continuous improvement and process management.
• Spanish: native or equivalent. English: professional level.

Responsibilities

• Demand planning and stock management through monthly S&OP with Sales, Marketing and Finance.
• Lead warehousing and distribution in Spain and Portugal, domestically or via operators.
• Oversee customer service: orders, inquiries, tracking, complaints and returns.
• Lead and develop the team, set objectives and development plans.
• Prepare and manage the supply chain budget and monitor variances.
• Ensure data accuracy in ERP/CRM and drive tools improvements.
