Job summary

IQVIA Language Solutions is seeking a Business Development Specialist in Europe to drive new opportunities across pharma, biotechnology, medical devices and CROs. You will research target accounts, reach out to prospects, qualify interest and move opportunities through the sales process.

You will collaborate with Presales, Account Management, Marketing and Delivery teams to shape solutions and deliver a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Early-career experience in business development, sales or account management.
• Genuine enthusiasm for building relationships and creating new opportunities.
• Curiosity about healthcare, languages, technology and AI.
• Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, organized approach and persistence to follow through.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Research target companies, market segments and key stakeholders to identify potential opportunities.
• Generate interest through outbound outreach, campaigns, networking and follow-up.
• Qualify prospective customers by learning about their needs, priorities and current approach to multilingual content.
• Build and maintain an active pipeline, keeping CRM data accurate.
• Schedule and support introductory meetings, discovery discussions, presentations and follow-up activities.
• Collaborate with Presales, Account Management, Marketing and Delivery teams to enhance the customer experience.
• Progress qualified opportunities through the sales process with senior colleagues.
• Develop account plans, proposals and customer-facing materials.
• Gain a strong understanding of IQVIA Language Solutions and related workflows.
