Iron Systems, Inc. in Madrid seeks an IT Desktop Support Technician to manage desktop devices, implement IMAC/DESK-side support, and resolve hardware/software issues across the user base. The role includes OS maintenance, antivirus monitoring, and vendor coordination for spare parts, ensuring uptime and security.

Experience with ServiceNow and ITIL processes is valued to ensure consistent incident handling and service delivery. The position is on-site in Madrid with potential for growth.

Formación

• Knowledge and experience on Windows 7 OS.
• AD and smart hands and feet support experience preferred.
• Knowledge of MAC devices and tablets preferred.
• Experience with Service management tool such as ServiceNow.
• Proficiency with EUC tools, remote support tools, MS Office and Outlook.
• Understanding of Lync, VPN, and mobile device support.
• Awareness of ITIL processes: Incident, Change, Problem, Service Request; spare and buffer stock management.
• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manage Desktop Devices (hardware, software and connectivity) incidents through to resolution.
• Manage IMAC and desk side support services.
• Handle hard and soft break fix services for laptops and desktops.
• Provide standard hardware and software support and maintenance on Desktop Devices for their lifecycle.
• Oversee desktop configuration, patch updates, and hardware replacements with vendor spares.
• Analyse Service Desk calls for Desktop Devices to identify training needs and automation opportunities.
• Ensure Desktop Devices are installed with appropriate Desktop images.
• Monitor security profiles and antivirus software; enforce security compliance.
• Provide VIP desk-side IT support when required and be the site contact for IT issues.
