Job summary

Ria Money Transfer is seeking a Privacy Counsel to provide legal and strategic guidance on data protection and privacy across the organization. The role partners with EU business teams and the Privacy Office to manage privacy risks and ensure regulatory compliance within a global fintech environment.

The successful candidate will draft DPAs, review data transfer arrangements, and monitor evolving EU data protection requirements.

Qualifications

• Fluent English as working language with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Initial hands-on exposure to data protection, privacy, compliance, or regulatory work.
• Ability to work independently in a matrixed, multi-entity environment.

Responsibilities

• Support Privacy Office and EU business teams with data protection guidance.
• Draft and review Data Privacy and Data Transfer Agreements with internal counsel and third parties.
• Assist Privacy Consultants with local regulatory requirements and day-to-day compliance topics.
• Prepare and review Data Privacy Notices and Cookie Notices for websites and applications.
• Document data processing activities and identify lawful bases for processing and data transfers.
• Monitor local data protection regulations and share updates with stakeholders.
