Job summary

Nextpower is seeking an experienced Compliance Counsel to support our compliance function in Spain and the broader EMEA region. The role provides practical guidance across data privacy, cybersecurity, labor and employment, anti‑bribery/anti‑corruption, corporate ethics, internal investigations, and regulatory risk management.

Qualifications

• Law degree and qualification to practice law in Spain.
• 8+ years of legal experience, minimum 5 years in compliance or regulatory roles.
• Fluency in Spanish and English; additional European languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compliance guidance on applicable European and Spanish laws and regulations.
• Support privacy, data protection, GDPR and incident response.
• Advise on cybersecurity regulatory requirements and third‑party risk management.
• Guide employment law compliance, investigations, employee privacy and related matters.
• Support anti‑bribery/anti‑corruption programs and due diligence.
• Conduct and support internal investigations and recommend corrective actions.
