Amazon Spain Services, S.L.U. seeks experienced systems engineers to help launch the European Sovereign Cloud for EU customers. You will work within the AWS Managed Operations team to build and lead operations and development teams delivering high-availability services like EC2, S3 and more.

Fluency in English is required; EU nationality and relocation flexibility within the EU are supported. You will participate in an on-call rota and contribute to ongoing improvements in availability, latency,

Formación

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related IT discipline or equivalent experience.
Scripting or software development experience with Linux and networking to troubleshoot reliability.
Experience operating cloud services or AWS and on-call environments.

Responsabilidades

Oversee the launch of the European Sovereign Cloud in 2025 for EU customers.
Collaborate with global AWS teams to influence service evolution and reliability.
Improve availability, latency, performance and efficiency of ESC through day-to-day ops.
Build and lead operations and development teams for high-availability services.
