Amazon Spain Services, S.L.U. seeks experienced systems engineers to help launch the European Sovereign Cloud. You will join AWS Managed Operations to lead operations and development teams delivering high-availability services for EU customers.

You will drive improvements in availability, reliability, latency, and performance, collaborate with global teams, and participate in on-call rotations to resolve incidents, ensuring a scalable, secure cloud experience.

Formación

• Proven experience in systems engineering with automation and operations.
• Experience scripting in Bash, Python, or Ruby.
• Strong Linux, networking, and incident response skills.
• Ability to develop and refine SOPs for operations.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the launch of the European Sovereign Cloud and coordinate with global AWS teams.
• Improve day-to-day operations to boost availability, latency and performance.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations to resolve incidents out-of-hours.
• Educate service teams on AWS services and operational best practices for EU customers.
