Jobgether is recruiting an Engineering Manager - Payments Integrations based in Spain to lead a multidisciplinary team connecting a global payments platform with PSPs, acquirers, and gateways. You will own technical direction, architecture, and delivery of critical payment integrations while aligning with product and compliance.

The role blends people leadership with hands-on ownership of backend systems, microservices, and AI-enhanced development practices.

Formación

• Proven experience managing and growing engineering teams.
• Strong technical leadership for architectural decisions in fast-paced env.
• Hands-on backend engineering with Go (Golang).
• 8+ years of production experience with Go.
• Experience with microservices, APIs, and modern integration patterns.
• Familiarity with SQL databases and secure coding practices.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Hire, mentor, coach engineers with structured development.
• Own lifecycle of integrations with PSPs, acquirers, and gateways.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership in architecture and reviews.
• Set engineering standards for testing, observability, docs.
• Champion OWASP, data privacy, and compliance.
• Drive APIs and integration frameworks across markets.
• Promote AI-first engineering practices and automated testing.
• Collaborate with Product, Compliance, Business to deliver roadmap.
• Balance priorities and deliver in a fast-moving environment.
• Promote practical agile ways of working.
• Monitor production performance for reliability and security.
