Job summary

Jobgether is partnering to hire an Engineering Manager, Automation Intelligence based in Spain. Lead a high-impact team delivering AI-driven bot detection, classification systems, and APIs, guiding the product from beta to GA and commercial launch.

You will establish quality-driven practices, oversee AI-native workflows, and drive continuous improvement in a fully remote setting. You will collaborate with leadership and product teams to ensure reliability, scalability, and rapid delivery, while

Qualifications

• Three+ years of engineering management experience with software engineers.
• Eight+ years of software engineering experience prior to or with management.
• Strong domain expertise in bot detection, fraud prevention, web security, or high-volume APIs.
• Quality-driven development with measurement, testing, and monitoring.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools and practical workflows.
• Proven cross-functional leadership with product and customer teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the engineering roadmap from beta to GA and commercial launch.
• Define service reliability targets (throughput, latency, SLOs) for production readiness.
• Establish a continuous detection quality framework with datasets and tests.
• Guide AI agent detection and classification for various automation frameworks.
• Lead staged rollouts with feature flags and customer feedback loops.
• Manage and develop a small team of senior engineers, hiring as needed.
• Introduce engineering standards, code reviews, and performance benchmarks.
• Collaborate across teams to reduce dependencies and improve deployment autonomy.
• Lead AI-native engineering practices and toolchains for development and security.
