Job summary

Levy is seeking a friendly bartender to prepare and serve beverages to guests in a timely, courteous manner at our bar. You will set up assigned bars, stock beer, wine, spirits, glassware, garnishes, and condiments, and ensure product quality throughout service.

You will take and process drink orders, present drinks, check valid IDs, and adhere to provincial liquor regulations. Maintain a clean, organized work area; assist with stock control and bar displays.

Qualifications

• Valid Responsible Beverage Service Certificate for the applying province.
• Previous bartending experience is an asset.
• Energetic, friendly, outgoing and dedicated to outstanding customer service.
• Must be a team player.
• Physical ability to carry out duties of the position.

Responsibilities

• Set up assigned bars and stock all beer, wine, spirits, glassware, ice and garnishes.
• Maintain stock, prepare and store fresh garnishes and produce for quality.
• Take and process drink orders; mix, garnish and present drinks per recipes.
• Check guests for proper identification and ensure compliance with liquor laws.
• Lock up and store all beverage products, food and equipment; keep area clean.
• Perform general cleaning tasks and adhere to health and safety standards.
• Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive bar display.
