Job summary

Savant Network, based in Barcelona, is seeking a senior People Relations Manager for the Spanish market. You will own People Relations across the market, covering labour relations, health and safety, and local adaptation of global policies.

This role reports to leadership and guides HR in a multinational retail context. The ideal candidate brings extensive Labour Relations experience, strong negotiation skills, and leadership capability, with fluency in English and Spanish required.

Qualifications

• Background in HR, Labour Law, Industrial Relations or a related field.
• Several years of experience in People Relations or Labour Relations with a large workforce.
• Hands-on experience negotiating with works councils and unions.
• Experience leading teams.
• Fluent English and Spanish; Catalan a plus.
• Calm under pressure and the ability to build trust on all sides.

• Lead labour relations for the market, including collective bargaining with works councils and unions.
• Advise leaders and HR teams on Spanish labour law and complex employee relations cases.
• Own the work environment agenda, including occupational health, safety and wellbeing.

Savant Network is partnering with a leading international retail brand to find its next People Relations Manager for the Spanish market. The role is based at the company's headquarters in Barcelona.

The opportunity

This is a senior role with real influence. You will own People Relations for the whole market. That covers labour relations, working with works councils and unions, workplace health and safety, and making sure global people policies work well locally.

The business is in a period of change. This role will shape how that change reaches its people. We are looking for someone who can build trust at the table and get real results.

What you will do

What you bring
