Job summary

Ria Money Transfer is seeking a Payments Technical Support Specialist EMEA to join the Payments Operations team in Madrid. You will oversee live operations for Ria, Xe and Dandelion services in the EMEA region, lead back-office administration, partner lifecycle management, initiative management, and Zendesk data analytics within a 24/7 global team.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or related field.
3 years of experience in API integration, technical support, or similar.
Experience in Fintech, Money Transfer or Banking is a plus.
Project management experience, familiar with financial accounting concepts.
Experience with API Integrations - Web Service, RESTful API, XML, JSON.
In depth knowledge of Zendesk, Jira, Power BI is a plus.
Understanding of programming languages (Java, Python, PHP).
Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI).
Communication and interpersonal skills, ability to influence cross-functional and leadership teams.
Experience with AI co-working tools (Claude, ChapGPT, NotebookLM).
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish; strong stakeholder influence.
Experience with payment gateways, financial integrations, security protocols and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

Provide first level support to existing partners by resolving incidences in a timely fashion.
Detect anomalies & errors in the payment instructions delivery process.
Monitors inbound/outbound global payments transactions flow.
Resolve or escape to additional functional teams.
API Integration and maintenance.
Develop comprehensive documentation for API configurations, workflows and troubleshooting steps.
Ensure compliance with company security standards and regulatory requirements.
Conduct functional and regression testing.
Work closely with developers, product teams and external vendors.
Monitor support performance and create reports on integration status, issues and resolutions.
