Job summary

MiniMed is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist, EMEA, to support end-to-end AP activities across the region. This role focuses on invoice processing, payments, reconciliations, month-end close support, and process improvement within the P2P framework.

You will partner with the BPO provider, work in SAP, and ensure compliance with internal controls and SLAs. Strong English communication and cross-country collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 5-7 years' experience in accounts payable or procure to pay, preferably in a shared service center environment.
• Experience in Accounts Payable, Procure to Pay, or finance operations.
• Experience in shared services and/or outsourced BPO environments.
• Hands-on experience with SAP or a similar ERP system.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end AP processes, controls, and reconciliation activities.
• Experience supporting month-end close and AP reporting activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively across countries, functions, and cultures.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end accounts payable activities for the EMEA region in SAP.
• Coordinate with the BPO provider to ensure timely, accurate invoices and issue resolution.
• Review and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor queries in coordination with stakeholders.
• Support payment cycles and ensure compliance with internal controls and SLAs.
• Maintain vendor accounts and AP aging with proactive follow-up.
• Act as primary contact for EMEA AP operations during regional hours.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and vendors to improve end-to-end transaction flow.
• Monitor AP performance metrics and identify process gaps for improvements.
• Update SOPs and process documentation reflecting regional requirements.
• Provide day-to-day guidance within the AP team and partners.
