Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Madrid seeks an entry-level avionics engineer to design and validate AOCS/GNC algorithms and flight software. You will work across Phases 0 to E, generating design Justifications and software requirements, and developing prototypes in MATLAB/Simulink with occasional C or Python.

You will collaborate with electrical, thermal and mechanical teams in a hybrid work environment, with opportunities for skill growth and exposure to diverse flight hardware projects.

Formación

• Degree in aerospace with dynamics and control content.
• Experience in participating in a GNC/AOCS project lifecycle.
• Proficient in MATLAB/Simulink for algorithm design.

Responsabilidades

• Perform AOCS/GNC design, implementation, verification and validation for mission Phases 0 to E.
• Produce design justifications and software requirements documentation.
• Develop prototype software, mainly in MATLAB/Simulink, with C or Python as needed.
• Support reviews with customers, partners and stakeholders.

Job Description:Reporting to the Avionics engineering department in Madrid you will have a stimulating blend of learning and technical work and will gain extensive experience in the design and analysis of avionics engineering, for both small studies and large projects, as well as having the unique opportunity to work on flight algorithms and flight hardware .The possibility for developing in other avionics engineering areas in the short term is also possible and promoted from the department.Besides, beyond avionics engineering, the selected candidate will benefit from a close relation with other engineering domains like electrical, thermal or mechanical architects, all working together in a open space.RESPONSIBILITIESYou will be expected to perform AOCS/GNC design, implementation, verification and validation activities for mission’s Phases 0 to EThe successful candidate will be expected to perform AOCS/GNC design, implementation, verification and validation activities for mission’s Phases 0 to EYou will produce relevant documentation (design justifications, software requirements for AOCS/GNC algorithms, performance analysis documentation etc.)You will develop software to a prototype level (non/real time simulator development mostly under Matlab /Simulink but also occasionally also in C or Python).You will also support reviews and workshops with the customer / partners and stakeholdersSKILLS.Degree or equivalent in aerospace disciplineQualifications with dynamics and filtering/estimation/control engineering contentExperienced in participating within a GNC/AOCS project at some point of thedevelopment and validation cycleMatlab and Simulink experienceBeing part during last years of Airbus in a trainneship or any other collaboration will be valued.WHICH BENEFITS WILL YOU HAVE AS AIRBUS EMPLOYEE?At Airbus we are focused on our employees and their welfare.
