Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe, Spain is seeking an Avionics Systems Engineer to join the Avionics Department on a Military Derivatives program. You will design and analyze interfaces between systems to support overall aircraft.

The role requires a master’s degree in aerospace or related field, at least 3 years in airborne avionics, knowledge of ARP4754/DO-178/DO254/DO160, and strong communication within a multicultural team.

• Master's degree in aerospace engineering or computer science or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a related field.
• Experience with airborne avionics systems and interfaces.
• Familiarity with ARP4754, DO-178, DO-254, DO-160.
• Ability to work in an international, multidisciplinary team.

Responsabilidades

• Design and development of avionics systems for operational concepts.
• Define requirements documents and technical specifications.
• V&V activities: prepare test procedures, conduct development tests or monitor formal tests.
• Analyze test results and test reports.
• Support design, qualification, and certification processes.
• Contribute to program milestones and reviews.

Job Description:Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Avionics Systems Engineer (f/m) to join our Avionics Department based in Getafe, Spain.You will be part of a team developing Military Derivatives project. As part of the Avionics Team, you will be involved in design and analysis activities aiming at managing the interface between systems to support overall aircraft.RESPONSIBILITIESDesign and development of Avionics Systems for operational conceptsDefinition of requirements documents and technical specificationsV&V activities: Preparation of Test Procedures, perform development tests and/or monitor formal tests.
