Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Madrid invites an entry-level avionics engineer to join the Avionics engineering department. You will work on the design and analysis of flight algorithms and flight hardware, contributing to both small studies and large projects in a collaborative open-space environment.

You will interact with electrical, thermal and mechanical architects, perform AOCS/GNC design, implementation, verification and validation across mission Phases 0 to E, develop prototype software

Formación

• Degree or equivalent in aerospace discipline.
• Qualities with dynamics and filtering/estimation/control engineering content.
• Experienced in participating within a GNC/AOCS project at some point of the development and validation cycle.
• MATLAB and Simulink experience.
• Being part during last years of Airbus in a traineeship or any other collaboration will be valued.

Responsabilidades

• You will develop software to a prototype level (non/real time simulator development mostly under Matlab /Simulink but also occasionally also in C or Python).
• You will also support reviews and workshops with the customer / partners and stakeholders

Job Description:

Reporting to the Avionics engineering department in Madrid you will have a stimulating blend of learning and technical work and will gain extensive experience in the design and analysis of avionics engineering, for both small studies and large projects, as well as having the unique opportunity to work on flight algorithms and flight hardware.

The possibility for developing in other avionics engineering areas in the short term is also possible and promoted from the department.

Besides, beyond avionics engineering, the selected candidate will benefit from a close relation with other engineering domains like electrical, thermal or mechanical architects, all working together in a open space.
