Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Madrid invites an entry-level avionics engineer to join the Avionics engineering department. You will work on the design and analysis of flight algorithms and flight hardware, contributing to both small studies and large projects in a collaborative open-space environment.

You will interact with electrical, thermal and mechanical architects, perform AOCS/GNC design, implementation, verification and validation across mission Phases 0 to E, develop prototype software

Formación

• Degree or equivalent in aerospace discipline.
• Qualities with dynamics and filtering/estimation/control engineering content.
• Experienced in participating within a GNC/AOCS project at some point of the development and validation cycle.
• MATLAB and Simulink experience.
• Being part during last years of Airbus in a traineeship or any other collaboration will be valued.

Responsabilidades

• You will be expected to perform AOCS/GNC design, implementation, verification and validation activities for mission’s Phases 0 to E.
• The successful candidate will be expected to perform AOCS/GNC design, implementation, verification and validation activities for mission’s Phases 0 to E.
• You will produce relevant documentation (design justifications, software requirements for AOCS/GNC algorithms, performance analysis documentation etc.)
• You will develop software to a prototype level (non/real time simulator development mostly under Matlab /Simulink but also occasionally also in C or Python).
• You will also support reviews and workshops with the customer / partners and stakeholders
