Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe (Madrid) is seeking a Modelling and Simulation System Engineer to design and implement real-time software models of aircraft subsystems, such as navigation, avionics, and hydraulics, using C, C++, Python, or Ada on Linux.

You will integrate models with simulator hardware, perform end-to-end testing, and validate performance to meet Airbus safety, quality, and defense industry standards.

Formación

• Aeronautical, Telecommunication, Software or Industrial Engineering degree.
• At least 5 years of previous experience.
• Advanced level in English.
• Strong programming skills in C, C++, Python, Ada; Linux and Qt knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Design and program real-time software models simulating the dynamic behavior of the aircraft and its systems.
• Interface the developed software models with physical simulator hardware and components; perform end-to-end system integration testing and performance validation.
• Ensure delivered simulation products comply with international safety, quality and defense industry standards.

Job Description:DESCRIPTIONAn opportunity for a Modelling and Simulation System Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid).The selected candidate will join the Modelling and Simulation Team .The team is in charge of defining, producing, validating and supporting Systems simulation products for Airbus internal and external customers matching the required safety, quality and performance levels according to Airbus systems engineering processes and the needs of our customers.We are looking for a system engineer capable of building simulator subsystem models in real time with experience in Software development to complete those models. Be prepared to work in a highly motivated team, and work with actual simulators that we build and deliver for internal and external customers all over the world.RESPONSIBILITIESDesign and program real-time software models simulating the dynamic behavior of the aircraft and its systems (navigation, avionics, radio, hydraulics, etc.) using C, C++, Python, or Ada in Linux environments.Actively participate in all formal product development phases.Interface the developed software models with physical simulator hardware and components, performing end-to-end system integration testing and performance validation.Ensure that delivered simulation products strictly comply with international safety, quality, and performance standards required by Airbus and defense industry regulations.SKILLSIs your profile aligned to the following list of skills?
