Village Cinemas in Australia is seeking a Duty Manager to lead daily operations and ensure guests have a seamless, memorable experience. Reporting to the site leadership team, you will oversee front-of-house activity, roster staff, and uphold safety and presentation standards.

You will coach team members on service steps, handle guest escalations with professionalism, and drive guest service excellence during peak periods, including evenings and weekends.

• Proven leadership skills and a track record of delivering outstanding guest experiences.
• Ability to coach and motivate team members while maintaining high operational standards.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on safety, compliance and presentation.
• Confidence in handling guest escalations with a solution-focused approach.
• Experience in customer service or hospitality is highly valued.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee front-of-house operations including venue opening and closing, cash handling and end-of-shift reconciliation.
• Lead and coach team members on Service Steps to deliver top-notch guest service.
• Handle guest needs and resolve escalations with professionalism and care.
• Manage rosters, maintain cleanliness and presentation, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Support inventory processes and ensure accurate stock movements and presentation.

About The Role

As a Duty Manager, you’ll be an essential part of our leadership team, overseeing daily operations and ensuring each guest enjoys a seamless and memorable experience. Reporting to the site senior leadership team, your responsibilities include:

• Managing front-of-house operations, including venue opening and closing, cash handling, and end-of-shift reconciliation.
• Leading and coaching team members on Service Steps, setting them up to deliver top-notch guest service.
• Handling guest needs and resolving escalations with professionalism and care.
• Managing rosters effectively, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation, and ensuring compliance with OHS, food safety, and security standards.
• Supporting inventory processes, recording stock movements accurately, and ensuring the cinema meets Village Cinemas’ high standards of presentation.
