JC Brand Esp Market SL is seeking a senior financial leader in Madrid to drive strategic finance, control, and scale-up of private label operations. You will partner with the Managing Director and Group Finance, shaping budgets, forecasts, and governance across channels.

The ideal candidate has 8–10+ years in senior finance roles, with Private Label experience and fluency in Spanish and English. The role offers on-site work in Madrid and collaboration across Europe.

Formación

• 8–10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience (CFO/Head of Finance/Senior Finance Director).
• Mandatory experience in Private Label business models (Fashion, Apparel, FMCG, or Consumer Goods).
• Fluent in Spanish and English (German a plus).

Responsabilidades

• Strategic Business Partnership & Executive Steering with Managing Director and Group Finance.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and margin steering across collections and channels.
• Design and govern financial operations and IT systems for scale.
• Build scalable financial structures, ICS, and reporting from scratch.
• Lead external partners and manage SSC service relationships for reporting.
• Drive end-to-end Private Label commercial controlling and margin optimization.
• Manage local cash flows and working capital aligned with inventory targets.
• Direct reporting to local MD; functional reporting to Group Finance.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Strategic Business Partnership & Executive Steering: You act as a trusted strategic co-pilot to the Managing Director and Group Finance, shaping business strategy, steering rapid growth, and establishing robust financial governance.
• Comprehensive Performance Steering: You oversee all strategic controlling activities, designing scalable budgeting, forecasting, and margin-steering frameworks across all collections and channels.
• Infrastructure & Operational Scaling: You design, build, and oversee the financial operations, financial IT systems, and governance infrastructure required to seamlessly manage a scaling volume.
• Process Architecture & Greenfield Development: You thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with low initial process maturity. You build scalable financial structures, internal control systems (ICS), and reporting frameworks from scratch.
• External Partner & SSC Governance: You lead and develop your local team while steering external partners and managing the service relationship with the central Shared Service Centre (SSC) to ensure high-quality, timely financial reporting and execution.
• Private Label & Commercial Performance Control: You drive end-to-end commercial controlling with a strong focus on Private Label dynamics, unit economics, landed-cost calculations, and multi-channel margin optimization.
• Cash, Liquidity & Working Capital Governance: You actively manage local cash flows, monitor working capital requirements in alignment with group-given inventory targets, and mitigate financial risks to ensure rock-solid liquidity during rapid scaling.
• Matrix Reporting Setup: Direct reporting line to local Managing Director; functional reporting line to Group Finance leadership.

What We Are Looking For

• Your educational background: You hold a university degree (Bachelor/Master) in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, and professional certifications are a strong plus.
• Your strengths: You combine strategic board-level vision with a pragmatic, hands-on execution mindset. You bridge start-up agility with corporate governance standards and demonstrate strong leadership, mentorship, and matrix stakeholder management skills across dual reporting lines.
• Your profile: You bring 8–10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience (CFO, Head of Finance, or Senior Finance Director) with mandatory experience in Private Label business models (Fashion, Apparel, FMCG, or Consumer Goods). You have a proven track record in scale-up and greenfield environments and are fluent in Spanish and English (German is a plus).
