UST España & Latam busca un/una Ingeniero/a DevOps para un rol híbrido en Madrid. Liderarás la migración de CI/CD y la adopción de prácticas DevOps en equipos de desarrollo del sector banca. Se trabajará con Azure, GitLab y containerización en entornos restringidos.

El candidato ideal posee experiencia en migración a la nube, herramientas CI/CD y entornos SAFe, con fluidez en inglés y capacidad de trabajar en un modelo híbrido en Madrid.

Formación

• Ingeniero de software con experiencia práctica en desarrollo de aplicaciones (Java, .NET, Python o similares).
• Experiencia práctica construyendo y manteniendo pipelines CI/CD y migrando entre herramientas (Bitbucket/Jenkins → GitLab).
• Fuerte comprensión de principios DevOps, flujos Git y prácticas modernas de entrega.
• Experiencia con servicios de Microsoft Azure e Infraestructura como Código.
• Experiencia en despliegue de cargas de trabajo en contenedores y orquestación (Nexus, Helm, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Certificaciones en la nube (p. ej. Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) son una ventaja.
• Fluidez en inglés.
• Experiencia trabajando en entornos ágiles (SAFe o similar).

Responsabilidades

• Apoyar a múltiples Trenes de entrega ágiles (ARTs) en la onboarding a nuestra plataforma DevOps interna y servicios de Azure.
• Conducir la migración de aplicaciones a la infraestructura en la nube respetando estándares y controles de seguridad.
• Migrar pipelines CI/CD de Bitbucket/Jenkins a GitLab, alineándolos con estándares de la plataforma.
• Colaborar con equipos de desarrollo, proporcionando educación y habilitación en DevOps y desarrollo nativo en la nube.
• Contribuir a mejorar la experiencia de desarrollo creando plantillas, documentación y materiales de formación.

What we look for?

We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to play a key role in helping our software development teams migrate to the cloud and adopt DevOps best practices across the project of the client from the banking sector.

Work Location: Work model in hybrid in Madrid (3 days at the office, 2 WFH),

Main tasks and accountabilities will be:

• Support multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and product teams in onboarding to our internal DevOps platform and curated Azure services
• Drive the re-platforming/migration of applications to cloud infrastructure while ensuring adherence to enterprise standards, compliance controls, and secure-by-design principles
• Drive the migration of CI/CD pipelines from Bitbucket/Jenkins to GitLab, ensuring alignment with platform standards and compliance requirements
• Collaborate closely with development teams, educating and enabling them on DevOps practices, CI/CD automation, and cloud-native development
• Contribute to improving the developer experience by creating templates, documentation, and training materials that simplify platform adoption

What do we expect from you?

• Software engineer with profound hands-on experience in application development (Java, .NET, Python, or similar)
• Practical experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and migrating between toolchains (Bitbucket/Jenkins → GitLab)
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles, Git workflows, and modern delivery practices
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and Infrastructure-as-Code
• Experience with deployment of containerized workloads and orchestration (Nexus, Helm, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience working in air-gapped or restricted enterprise environments, where all external dependencies must be consumed from internal registries
• Cloud certifications (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) are a strong advantage
• Fluency in English
• Experience working in agile environments (SAFe or similar) and collaborating across multiple teams
