MIGx AG in Barcelona region seeks a Data Engineering Team Lead to guide a growing team delivering enterprise-scale data solutions in life sciences and healthcare. You will shape data architecture, mentor engineers, and partner with clinical SMEs and stakeholders.

The role blends technical depth with people leadership, emphasizes DataOps, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), and Databricks, PySpark, and dbt to build scalable pipelines and actionable insights.

Formación

• End-to-end ownership of enterprise-scale data solutions from design to deployment.
• Experience in leading or senior engineering roles with measurable impact.
• Strong background in life sciences data, regulatory considerations, or healthcare data.
• Ability to mentor engineers, run performance reviews, and set goals.
• Cloud data engineering across AWS, Azure, or GCP with Databricks experience.
• Knowledge of DataOps: CI/CD, observability, and data governance.
• Excellent communication for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of data engineers through coaching and reviews.
• Define data architecture standards and best practices for the group.
• Architect and review scalable data pipelines on Databricks using PySpark and SQL.
• Collaborate with data architects, clinical SMEs, and stakeholders on use cases.
• Champion DataOps with CI/CD, testing, lineage, and deployment automation.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions and roadmaps.
