Merck KGaA in Mollet del Vallès, Barcelona, Spain, invites a seasoned AI Engineer to shape the Data & AI Organization. Design analytics pipelines, deploy enterprise-grade agentic workflows, and integrate LLMs, predictive models, with cross-functional PODs to deliver AI-driven insights across business functions.

You will ensure model reliability, reproducibility, and performance at scale, leveraging AWS, Palantir Foundry, Snowflake, and modern data tooling.

Formación

• University degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of data science, data engineering, analytics, or visualization in a global org.
• Strong Python and SQL programming skills.
• Experience with AI/ML, NLP, and LLM-powered applications.
• Familiarity with vector stores, reranking, and LLM observability tools.
• Experience with agentic engineering tools (Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, OpenCode).
• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Palantir Foundry, Snowflake) and data frameworks.
• MLOps/DevOps experience including MLflow, CI/CD and Docker.
• Excellent English communication; German a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement analytics pipelines and enterprise-grade AI workflows.
• Integrate LLMs, predictive models, and multi-agent frameworks.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists in agile PODs.
• Deliver AI outputs via APIs, dashboards, and embedded analytics.
• Mentor peers and contribute to building internal AI literacy.
