End-to-end ownership of enterprise-scale data solutions.
Experience in a lead/senior engineering role with impact on team performance.
Life sciences data domain experience with data complexity, standards, and compliance.
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers.
Cloud data engineering across AWS, GCP, Azure; Databricks experience incl. Unity Catalog, PySpark, Python, SQL.
Experience building large-scale production data pipelines with monitoring and reliability.
DataOps concepts: CI/CD, reproducibility, automation.
Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ownership mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.

Lead, mentor, and support a team of data engineers, fostering quality and learning.
Conduct regular 1:1s and support direct reports' development.
Act as escalation point for technical challenges and unblock the team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data architects and domain experts.
Define data architecture standards and engineering best practices across the team.
Oversee scalable data pipelines on cloud platforms (Databricks, PySpark, SQL).
Drive data harmonization on clinical datasets for consistency and interoperability.
Champion DataOps practices: CI/CD, testing, observability, deployment automation.
Contribute to project scoping, effort estimation, and roadmap planning.
Represent the data engineering function in cross-functional forums.
