Symrise AG in Barcelona is launching a 12-month Global Data & AI Graduate Career Program for recent graduates. You will join the Data and Integration/API Architecture team to shape enterprise data capabilities and enable AI use cases through scalable data products.

The program offers formal training, hands-on global projects, mentoring, and exposure to leadership in a fast-paced, international environment. A 12-month paid program with clear growth potential awaits.

• Master's degree in a relevant field (Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or similar).
• Graduation no later than 31 July 2026.
• Maximum 2 years of prior professional experience.
• Availability to start full-time in September 2026.

Responsabilidades

About the Program

Within Group IT, we are expanding our established Global Data & AI Hub in Barcelona (Poblenou), which has successfully launched and continues to grow as a key pillar of our digital transformation strategy.

The Global Data & AI Graduate Career Program is now entering its next intake, building on the success of previous cohorts. Your role

As a Data Engineering Graduate, you will join the Data and Integration/API Architecture and Engineering team, contributing to the development of Symrise's enterprise‑wide data strategy and foundational data capabilities. You will work in a global environment supporting the digital and AI transformation of the business, helping to build scalable, high‑quality data solutions across a wide range of systems and domains.

In this role, you will support the design and implementation of modern data architecture and engineering practices, contributing to the development of a strategic enterprise lakehouse and reusable data products. You will work with both structured and unstructured data, helping to enable advanced analytics, AI use cases, and data‑driven decision‑making. You will also contribute to improving data pipelines, automation, and data lifecycle management to ensure efficiency, scalability, and reliability.

Working closely with cross‑functional teams and business stakeholders, you will help translate business needs into data solutions that drive value and innovation. You will gain exposure to enterprise architecture, data governance, and modern engineering practices, while contributing to large‑scale transformation initiatives. This role offers a strong opportunity to develop your skills in data engineering within a collaborative, fast‑paced, and innovation‑driven environment.

You should have:

• A Master's degree in a relevant field (Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, AI, Cybersecurity, UX/UI Design, or similar)
• Graduation no later than 31 July 2026
• Maximum 2 years of prior professional experience in a similar role
• Availability to start full‑time in September 2026

Eligibility requirements:

• EU citizenship is required (we do not offer visa sponsorship)
• For candidates based in Spain, employment will be under a local Spanish contract
• For eligible candidates outside of Spain, employment may be arranged via the VIE program (subject to Business France eligibility rules)
  • Candidates must not have previously completed a VIE assignment
  • Age must be under 29 at the time of hiring
  • Willingness to relocate to Barcelona (Poblenou)
