Blu Selection is seeking a Junior AI & ML Engineer to join a world-class data team in Barcelona. You will contribute to the end-to-end ML lifecycle, helping design, develop, and automate workflows that scale reliable AI solutions.

You will gain hands-on experience alongside senior engineers, applying best practices, learning MLOps, and delivering production-ready components within an Agile environment.

Formación

• Hands-on experience or academic background in IT/Engineering with focus on AI/ML and software development.
• Solid proficiency in Python and understanding of AI/ML algorithms, architectures, and data engineering basics.
• Exposure to cloud or MLOps tools like Azure ML, Databricks, CI/CD pipelines, Docker.

Responsabilidades

• Write high-quality code for data, modeling, and deployment pipelines under mentor guidance.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining MLOps workflows, including CI/CD, containerization, and monitoring.
• Contribute to design and optimization of scalable AI solutions following modern software practices.

And your role in this?

As the Junior AI & ML Engineer, you will be a key contributor to the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle. Working closely alongside senior engineers within the digital and data team, you will apply engineering rigor to help build, test, and scale reliable systems that solve real-world R&D challenges. Your main mission is to support the team in turning complex AI concepts into viable, scalable, and operationally sound products.

You will actively participate in the design, development, and automation of workflows, learning modern best practices while ensuring everything runs smoothly and predictably.

More specifically, you will:

• Contribute high-quality code for data, modeling, and deployment pipelines under the guidance of senior technical team members.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of MLOps workflows, focusing on automated CI/CD, containerization, and model monitoring.
• Participate in the technical design and optimization of scalable AI solutions, aligning your work with modern software engineering best practices.
• Work within an Agile framework to help translate research into predictable production value while maintaining compliance with data guidelines.
• Collaborate with technical teammates to better understand business challenges and transform them into technical requirements.

The Must-Haves:

• Experience: Initial hands-on experience or relevant academic/project background in IT or Engineering, focusing on AI/ML and software development.
• Technical Foundation: Solid proficiency in Python and a strong understanding of foundational AI/ML algorithms, architectures, and data engineering basics.
• MLOps & Cloud Exposure: Basic familiarity or exposure to tools like Azure ML, Databricks, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or cloud-based deployment environments.
• Delivery Muscle: Experience working in Agile environments with the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Languages: Full professional proficiency in English.

The Nice-to-Haves:

• French fluency is strongly preferred and will make collaborating with key regional teams a breeze!
• Prior exposure to chemistry, formulation, or the fragrance & flavor industry.
