Turner & Townsend in Madrid is seeking an experienced Construction (Site) Logistics Manager to oversee end-to-end logistics for large-scale projects. You will plan, source, and coordinate materials such as steel, concrete, HVAC, electrical and plumbing, manage vendor contracts, and ensure on-time delivery to maintain project schedules.

The role requires on-site presence, strong ERP/SAP proficiency, and excellent negotiation and stakeholder management.

Formación

• Degree in Construction Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Experienced in logistics or supply chain roles, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects
• Experience with data center or large-scale industrial projects is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, customs regulations, and construction logistics
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and project management tools
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple vendors and coordinate across teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple interfaces and stakeholders simultaneously
• Fluent in Spanish and very good English language skills
• Willingness to be present on-site as required

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement logistics strategies for materials such as steel, concrete, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with specifications and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including freight forwarding, customs clearance, and site delivery.
• Oversee staging, storage, and just-in-time delivery to minimize site congestion.
• Collaborate with construction managers and engineering teams to align logistics with project phases.
• Implement risk mitigation strategies (e.g., buffer stock, alternative sourcing).
• Use ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and construction platforms to track procurement and delivery.
• Maintain dashboards and reports for stakeholders on logistics performance.
