Cummins is seeking an energetic Business Development Associate for our Energy Systems Sales team in San Fernando de Henares, Spain. You will support BDMs across multiple accounts and countries, building technical and commercial cases, and coordinating with engineering and suppliers to drive opportunities.

Ideal candidates have an engineering background, fluency in English and Spanish, and experience with data centre or power/project environments.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field
• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken) mandatory
• Exposure to data centre, power generation, or complex projects preferred

Responsabilidades

• Support Business Development Managers responsible for multiple accounts across countries, aiding growth and market expansion.
• Identify, qualify, and support development of new opportunities in data centre, hyperscale, and critical infra customers.
• Compile early-stage technical and commercial concepts, budgets, and high-level business cases with data gathering and benchmarking.
• Perform technical and commercial analysis of suppliers (enclosures, switchgear, BOP), comparing solutions and risks.
• Support pipeline management, opportunity tracking, and forecasting with cross-regional visibility.
• Coordinate technical and commercial discussions between customers, internal engineering teams, and external suppliers.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across engineering, operations, sourcing, logistics, finance, legal, and service teams.
• Contribute to contract preparation and negotiation with risk alignment and terms review.
• Assist credit validation processes with finance for risk compliance.
• Participate in customer meetings, technical workshops, and business reviews across countries.
• Prepare high-quality presentations, market analyses, and strategic documentation for stakeholders.
• Track opportunity status, risks, and key developments across accounts and regions.
