Cummins Inc. seeks a talented Business Development Associate to join our Sales team for the Energy Systems unit in San Fernando de Henares, Spain.

You will support BDMs across multiple countries, help identify opportunities in data centres and critical infrastructure, and prepare early technical and commercial concepts with budgets and market benchmarks. You will coordinate with engineering, operations, sourcing, finance and legal teams, assist in contract reviews and credit validation, and help

Formación

• College, university, or equivalent degree in engineering, technical: Mechanical or Electrical.
• Technical or engineering background strongly preferred.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
• Additional European languages are a plus.
• Exposure to data centre, power generation, or complex project-based environments is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Support Business Development Managers responsible for multiple accounts across countries, contributing to growth and market expansion.
• Identify, qualify, and support development of new opportunities across data centre, hyperscale, and critical infrastructure customers.
• Compile early-stage technical and commercial concepts, budgets, and high-level business cases with data, inputs, lead times, costing assumptions, and benchmarks.
• Perform technical and commercial analysis of suppliers, including comparison of solutions, risks, lead times, and competitiveness.
• Support pipeline management, opportunity tracking, and forecasting with strong regional visibility.
• Coordinate technical and commercial discussions between customers, internal engineering teams, and external suppliers to define solutions.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across engineering, operations, sourcing, logistics, finance, legal, and service teams.
• Contribute to contract preparation and negotiation by coordinating legal review and aligning terms and conditions.
• Support credit validation processes in collaboration with finance teams, ensuring risk framework compliance.
• Participate in customer meetings, technical workshops, and business reviews across multiple countries.
• Prepare high-quality presentations, market analyses, and strategic documentation for stakeholders.
• Track and communicate opportunity status, risks, and developments across accounts and regions.
