Hamilton Barnes is seeking a maintenance technician with electrical maintenance expertise for a long-term data center project near Barcelona, Spain. The role combines knowledge of electrical and cooling systems to ensure uptime in a demanding environment, with hands-on tasks and training in data centre operations.

You will join a multidisciplinary team supporting critical infrastructures across Spain, performing preventive, corrective and operational maintenance of data center systems while

Formación

• Qualifications in electricity or HVAC or maintenance engineering.
• Experience maintaining critical facilities and data centers.
• Knowledge of fire detection and extinguishing systems, CCTV and access control.

Responsabilidades

• Perform and oversee preventive, corrective, and operational maintenance of key data center systems.
• Electrical systems: low/medium/high voltage, UPS, generators, lighting.
• Security systems: fire detection/extinguishing, CCTV, access control.
• Monitor control room operations and ensure continuous system performance.
• Support reliability and safety through accurate reporting and documentation.
