Amazon Data Services Spain, S.L. is seeking a Data Center Engineering Operations Technician to ensure the seamless operation of critical cloud infrastructure.

You will apply electrical and mechanical expertise to monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain data center equipment, driving reliability and efficiency across our global facilities. The role requires hands-on work with UPS systems, chillers, HVAC, and related controls, and involves shift rotations including early mornings, nights, and

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of generic mechanical room infrastructure (chillers, cooler units, fan controls).
• Knowledge of key electrical competencies and theory.
• Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain safety standards and promote a strong safety culture.
• Perform routine monitoring and operational readings of electrical and mechanical equipment (UPS, switchgear, generators, chillers, HVAC).
• Troubleshoot operational events and restore systems within SLAs.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with contractors and ensure standards and timelines.
• Support facility operations to enhance reliability and efficiency of data center operations.
