Amazon Data Services Spain, S.L. seeks a Data Center Engineering Operations Technician to apply electrical and mechanical expertise ensuring reliable operation of cloud infrastructure.

You will monitor critical facility systems, manage safety, and respond to operational events across UPS, generators, chillers, and HVAC units. The role involves shift rotations including early mornings, nights and weekends, and requires access to personal transportation for site locations lacking public transit.

Formación

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Knowledge of generic mechanical room infrastructure (chillers, cooler units, fan controls).
• Knowledge of key electrical competencies and theory.
• Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain Safety Standards: uphold safety protocols and collaborate to remediate risks.
• Perform Operational Monitoring: take daily readings of UPS, switchgear, transformers, HVAC, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot Equipment Issues: diagnose and resolve operational events within SLAs.
• Coordinate Maintenance Activities: supervise contractors for servicing and preventive maintenance.
• Support Facility Operations: contribute to reliability and efficiency of data center operations.
