Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Project Director (Cost Management) to lead cost management professionals within larger teams and deliver successful outcomes for clients in the data center sector.

Based in Madrid, the role involves managing cost planning, reporting, and commercial negotiations, with a focus on value engineering and lifecycle costing. English is required; Spanish is preferred, and a commitment to high professional standards is essential.

Formación

• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and managing cost management professionals.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Deep knowledge of cost planning, pre/post contract, and final accounts.
• Experience advising clients on value management, value engineering and life cycle costing.
• Proficiency with MS Office and modern cost management digital tools.

Responsabilidades

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams including clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
• Act as the key day-to-day client interface to deliver value-added cost management services.
• Establish robust cost reporting structures and control mechanisms, and manage KPIs.
• Oversee cost benchmarking, life cycle costing, and value engineering activities.
• Coordinate with finance for timely invoicing, progress reporting and cost control.
• Support business development, identifying opportunities and responding to client needs.
