Job summary

DATA4 seeks a Data Center Controls Lead to join our Design & Construction team across European campuses. You will own controls engineering, define standards, and guide commissioning for new and existing data centers.

The role requires 7+ years in data center design, a PE license or equivalent, LEED AP, and fluent English. Travel across Madrid, Milan, Warsaw, Marcoussis is expected, with strong collaboration across IT, electrical, and mechanical teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years in data center design and construction or equivalent.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent.
• LEED AP certification or equivalent in Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design Leadership & Product Ownership: act as the discipline owner for Controls engineering within the Engineering organisation.
• Conceptual Design: manage design and development of conceptual and detailed controls systems for new and existing data centers.
• Construction & Commissioning: oversee commissioning processes and develop commissioning plans.
• Technical Expertise and Representation: stay at the forefront of trends, act as internal expert, represent the company in external meetings.
• Continuous Improvement: identify opportunities for improvement and implement new technologies and best practices.
• RESPONSIBILITIES IN TERMS OF IMS CERTIFICATIONS: enforce H&S, Environment, Information security and Energy policies.
