Job summary

IREN Group in Madrid is seeking a DC Engineering Lead to coordinate multidisciplinary design across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and controls for their next-generation data center projects.

You will ensure design information is complete, coordinated, constructible, and aligned with project objectives, procurement needs, construction sequencing, and operational requirements of high-performance compute environments.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in design coordination or related disciplines for large-scale projects.
• Degree in architecture or engineering; BIM/design management training welcomed.
• Strong understanding of CSA/MEP interfaces and constructability.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and design reviews.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate CSA and MEP design activities across disciplines.
• Support design integration and interface coordination between teams.
• Review documents for completeness, consistency and constructability.
• Maintain design management tools, registers and action trackers.
• Facilitate coordination meetings and document design decisions.
• Identify gaps, clashes, and risks; support mitigation actions.
• Assist tendering and procurement with technical information and clarifications.
• Promote standardized workflows and align with sustainability and reliability standards.
