Amazon Data Services Spain, S.L.U. is seeking a data center engineer to maintain critical electrical, mechanical, and fire safety systems across AWS data centers in Spain.

You will manage planned preventative maintenance, respond to incidents, and lead large-scale projects from conception to completion. You will collaborate with engineering, automation, procurement, and finance teams, delivering on milestones, quotes, and documented results while driving innovation and cost efficiency in

Formación

• Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in vendor management.
• Experience in a data center or other critical environment.
• Experience in data center engineering or operations.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsabilidades

• Train and support the Engineering team in electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and operations.
• Oversee day-to-day operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in data center sites.
• Act as an escalation point for all facilities-related issues within the data center region.
• Work overtime as needed to support site stability.
• Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures and report weekly.
