Job summary

Amazon Data Services Spain, S.L. is seeking a Construction Project Manager for EMEA Construction to lead data centre projects from constructability to commissioning.

The role focuses on managing scope, schedule, and budget while coordinating with general contractors and vendors to deliver efficient turnovers. You will oversee design reviews, bidding, award, and construction closeout, driving cost control and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience turning design concepts into deployment or mass production.
• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities for data centre projects, managing scope, schedule, and budget.
• Interface with general contractors through bidding, award, execution, and closeout phases.
• Collaborate with vendors to deliver high-quality project turnovers.
• Lead negotiations with contractors and evaluate bids/proposals with accuracy.
• Create construction project scope and requests for proposals.
• Analyze capital requests and financials for construction work including change orders, PO's and invoicing.
• Support commissioning and ensure quality control of new or optimized data centres.
• Record and report key construction metrics to team and management.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
