devicenow is seeking a data-savvy BI analyst to join our hybrid Barcelona team. You will bridge business units and our data ecosystem, transforming data into reliable insights to guide decisions.

You will collaborate with operations, sales and service teams to understand KPIs and reporting needs, review reports for accuracy and support data-driven improvements. • Solid experience analysing business data and working with BI tools, ideally Power BI.
• Strong SQL skills and a good understanding of relational databases and typical data warehouse structures.
• Ability to read and reverse-engineer existing reports and data models to identify issues.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the bridge between our business departments and our data landscape (databases, data warehouse, Power BI).
• Analyze data across operational systems, the data warehouse and Power BI reports to answer business questions.
• Work closely with specialists in the business units to understand their processes, KPIs and reporting needs.
• Review existing reports for plausibility and correctness, and propose improvements or redesigns.
• Translate business requirements into clear specifications and discuss them on eye level with our developers and data architects.
• Document data sources, calculation logic and report definitions.

What We Expect From You

• Solid experience analysing business data and working with BI tools, ideally Power BI.
• Strong SQL skills and a good understanding of relational databases and typical data warehouse structures.
• Ability to read and reverse-engineer existing reports and data models to identify issues.
• Structured, analytical mindset with a sharp eye for inconsistencies in numbers.
• Strong communication skills: able to engage with business specialists (Operations, Sales, Service, etc.) as well as technical discussions with developers.
• Curiosity to understand business processes rather than being a domain expert from day one.
• Fluent English; German or Spanish is a plus.
