Zscaler is hiring an Account Executive, Commercial, Spain in Madrid. You will join a global team driving cloud security leadership and a secure, cloud-enabled digital future.

This hybrid role reports to the Sales Director in Commercial and focuses on a territory with net new logos and up-sell opportunities. You will build business cases, collaborate with Sales Engineering, and drive a structured sales process across accounts ranging from 750 to 5,000 employees.

Formación

Role

We are looking for an Account Executive, Commercial, Spain to join our team in Madrid. This is a Hybrid role, reporting to the Sales Director in the Commercial sales department. You will join a global group of professionals passionate about cloud security leadership and driving a secure, cloud‑enabled digital future. In this role, you will demonstrate the power and agility of Zscaler cloud transformation by managing a territory focused on net new logos and up‑sell opportunities.

What you'll do (Role Expectations)

• Take ownership of an assigned territory focused on net new logo and up‑sell opportunities within accounts of 750 to 5,000 employees
• Demonstrate expertise in building business cases that clearly show value and differentiation at all levels of customer and prospect organizations
• Partner effectively with Sales Engineering, Solution Architecture, Value Consulting, and Transformation teams throughout your sales cycles
• Drive consistent pipeline generation using modern techniques, joint field marketing initiatives, and top‑tier channel partners including VARs, SIs, and SPs
• Execute a disciplined sales process from beginning to end while maintaining a high level of accountability for your territory's growth

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI‑driven solutions to optimize outcomes within your functional domain
• At least 3 years of sales experience with a revenue quota, specifically selling to commercial accounts in the Spanish market
• History of a consistent track record of over‑achievement in net new logo accomplishments and a strong understanding of how to leverage channel partnerships
• Demonstrated willingness to be coached and the discipline to follow a proven sales process from start to finish
• Proven ability to lead 'team sales' by effectively utilizing internal resources, partners, and team members to achieve success

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience leveraging AI‑powered sales intelligence tools, conversational AI, or predictive pipeline analytics to accelerate commercial deal velocity
• Previous experience selling security, SaaS, or enterprise software solutions
• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field of study

Zscaler's salary ranges are benchmarked and determined by role and level. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire base salaries for this position across all Spain locations. Individual pay placement within this range is determined based on objective, gender‑neutral criteria including job‑related skills, relevant experience, and education or training. The base salary range listed for this full‑time position excludes commission/bonus/equity (if applicable) and benefits.
