Shiji Group is seeking an organized Translation Intern to support Customer Success Operations in Barcelona. You will translate content across client communications, education materials, product content, and marketing collateral, while reviewing machine translations and ensuring consistency with approved glossaries.

This role offers exposure to AI-assisted translation and cross-functional collaboration. You will work in a fast-paced, agile team, owning the Spanish and Portuguese translation area,

• Native Spanish and Portuguese required.

• Experience with B2B marketing and SaaS is a plus.
• Experience with localisation and CAT tools is an advantage.

Job Summary

To support our Customer success Operations department, we are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Ops & Translation Intern who can support day-to-day CS Operational activities, documentation updates, internal co-ordination, native Spanish and Portuguese speaker to support with translation tasks. You will be translating content for an international hotel tech brand, everything from client communications, our tools, educational content and review translations for marketing blogs and materials to product and sales collateral. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their skills in Operations, translation, editing, and cross-cultural communication while learning how to leverage AI technology in the translation process. You need to be creative and demonstrate a strong ability to work with many internal stakeholders, form part of an agile team, and fully own the area of Spanish and Portuguese translation.

What You Will do

• Translate and format
• Client communications (notifications, Emails)
• Educational content for our Learning & Support Center
• Translate product and platform content
• Review and validate machine-translated content
• Verify translations against approved terminology and localisation glossaries
• Correct and maintain translated content using localisation tools such as Passolo
• Proofread and edit translated texts
• Ensure translation deliverables are completed within agreed timelines and quality standards
• Use AI-powered translation tools
• Support CS Ops administrative tasks
• Assist with Client and internal queries

Requirements

• Ability to sign an internship agreement with your university/school.
• Spanish and Portuguese native language.
• Fluent English is essential, other European languages are a plus.
• Excellent communication, organizational aptitude, ability to prioritize, multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible professional who enjoys working on projects with a team.
• Experience within B2B marketing and SaaS a plus.
• Familiarity with AI-powered translation tools and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with operational data.
• Experience with localisation, translation management, or CAT tools (e.g. Passolo) is an advantage
