PERSÁN, based in Sevilla, is seeking a highly involved and committed professional as a Controlling Specialist. Responsibilities include analyzing discrepancies in budgets and actual expenses, designing performance indicators, and ensuring proper budget management.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Economics or Business Administration, a high level of English, and a strong analytical background with experience in financial accounting tools like SAP and Power BI.

Formación

• At least 2 years of experience as a Controlling Specialist in industrial companies or in auditing/consulting.
• High level of English (at least B2/C1).

Responsabilidades

• Analyze discrepancies between budget and actual expenses and revenues.

• Manage the disposal and proper allocation of obsolete packaging and containers.

Main Responsibilities

• Analyze the discrepancies between the prepared budget and the actual company expenses and revenues.
• Design qualitative and quantitative company indicators to enable monitoring and facilitate decision‑making.
• Monitor the budget for the availability of structural orders.
• Manage the disposal and proper allocation of obsolete packaging and containers.
• Verify the consistency of information and ensure the correct allocation of company expenses and revenues to each area.
• Analyze the consistency of departmental budgets and propose suggestions and alternatives for improvement.
• Request the necessary information from different departments for preparing budgets or monthly closings.
• Request assistance from the Information Systems Department to resolve issues in other departments.
• Cooperate with other departments to address their questions regarding procedures.
• Collaborate with the Information Systems Department in proposing and overseeing new developments following a request or analysis of a need.

Academic background

• Degree in Economics, Business Administration or similar. Highly valuable master's degree in finance.
• High level of English (at least B2/C1).

Specific Technical Knowledge and tools

• At least 2 years of experience as a Controlling Specialist in industrial companies, or, failing that, experience in auditing or consulting.
• Experience in financial and analytical accounting.
• Knowledge of applicable Occupational Risk Prevention (ORP).
• SAP R/3.
• SAP Analyzer.
• Excel.
• Power BI.
