WhatJobs Direct is seeking a diligent Accountant specializing in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to join their finance team. This remote-first role allows you to work from anywhere in Spain while contributing to accurate invoicing, payments, and collections for clients, including those in the Valencia region.

You will reconcile, handle month-end close support, and maintain clear financial records, collaborating with vendors and internal teams to ensure compliance and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in AP/AR or as General Accountant with AP/AR focus.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial record-keeping.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Fluency in Spanish and ability to work remotely.

Responsabilités

• Process all accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and reconcile vendor invoices, expense reports, and employee reimbursements.
• Process customer payments and manage outstanding balances, ensuring timely collections.
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist with month-end closing procedures.
• Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
• Communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and internal departments to resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and reporting as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
