Indra Group in Spain is seeking a Collision Avoidance Engineer with expertise in astrodynamics, Near Earth orbits, and Linux environments to support collision risk assessment, orbit analysis, and space operations for satellite missions.

The position requires relocation to Germany in the coming months, offering opportunities to work on national and international projects with on-call responsibilities and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Formación

• Degree in aerospace/physics/astrodynamics or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Support collision avoidance activities for spacecraft operating in Near Earth orbits.
• Perform orbit analysis and assess orbital perturbations affecting satellite trajectories.
• Monitor conjunction events and contribute to collision risk assessment processes.
• Work with operat­ional systems in Linux environments to support mission activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in time-constrained operational scenarios.
• Participate in on-call operational support activities on a 24/7 basis.

We are looking for a Collision Avoidance Engineer with experience in astrodynamics, Near Earth orbits and perturbations, and Linux environments to join projects focused on collision avoidance activities, orbit analysis, and space operations support for satellite missions. This position requires relocation to Germany in the coming months.

What will you do?

• Support collision avoidance activities for spacecraft operating in Near Earth orbits.
• Perform orbit analysis and assess orbital perturbations affecting satellite trajectories.
• Monitor conjunction events and contribute to collision risk assessment processes.
• Work with operational systems in Linux environments to support mission activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in time-constrained operational scenarios.
• Participate in on-call operational support activities on a 24/7 basis.
