Axpo Group in Madrid invites an experienced Cloud Enablement Engineer to partner with internal teams migrating applications to the Group Azure cloud platform. You will support early cloud adoption, review designs for security, and translate needs into agile epics to prioritise work across platforms.

Join a multicultural team spanning Spain and Switzerland, contributing to reliable, scalable cloud solutions and continuous learning. Hybrid work with offices in Madrid is available.

Formación

• Hands-on Azure operations knowledge.
• Experience operating Kubernetes environments, including migrations.
• Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert preferred.
• Good understanding of networking concepts and traffic management; Cloudflare experience a plus.
• Collaborative and solution-oriented mindset across platform and application teams.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Spanish or German is a plus.

What you will do:

• Act as a trusted partner for internal teams moving applications and platforms to the Group Azure cloud platform

• Support the early stages of cloud adoption projects by assessing requirements and identifying suitable migration or platform solutions

• Review technical and solution designs together with application owners and platform stakeholders to ensure secure and practical implementations

• Translate business and technical needs into agile epics and user stories and support backlog prioritisation

• Contribute to the operation and support of the Group Azure cloud platform, including incident handling and on-call participation

• Help improve cloud platform tooling, automation, and operational processes to enhance reliability and scalability

What you bring & who you are:

• Experience working as a Cloud Engineer, Cloud Consultant, or in a similar role with hands‑on Azure operations knowledge

• Practical experience operating and supporting Kubernetes environments, including application migrations

• Strong understanding of Azure services; ideally, you hold Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert

• Good understanding of networking concepts and application traffic management; experience with Cloudflare is an advantage

• Collaborative and solution‑oriented mindset with experience working across platform and application teams

• Fluent in English; knowledge of Spanish or German is a plus
