Job summary

Wilsonhalligan is seeking an experienced First Mate for a 45m+ sailing yacht embarking to the Caribbean from Spain. The ideal candidate has proven First Mate experience on a similar-sized yacht, strong navigation and leadership skills, plus rigging expertise and confident sail handling.

OOW 3000 or Yachtmaster Ocean qualification required; package includes €6,500–€7,000 monthly, 3.5 days leave per month, and a 13th-month bonus. Start ASAP; male candidate cabin allocation.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced First Mate to join a 45m+ sailing yacht operating a dual-season cruising program, with the vessel soon heading to the Caribbean.

The ideal candidate will have previous First Mate experience on a similar-sized sailing yacht, with strong navigation and leadership skills, proven rigging expertise and confident sail handling. Regatta experience is highly desirable, alongside a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining high standards onboard.

Candidates must hold their OOW 3000 or Yachtmaster Ocean qualification.

Package:

• Start: ASAP, joining in Spain
• Salary: €6,500–€7,000 per month
• Leave: 3.5 days per month
