Job summary

Whitewater Recruitment seeks a permanent Bosun for a professionally run, busy 50m private motor yacht in the Mediterranean. The candidate should have 3–4 years of yachting experience, strong maintenance skills, and the ability to lead a team while engaging professionally with guests and crew.

Certifications required include OOW or YMO, STCW, ENG1 and PWC; Schengen visas are needed. Joining within two weeks with a shared cabin is expected; salary is €5000 per month, with details to be discussed

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of previous yachting experience or similar roles.
• Strong maintenance skills and ability to manage upkeep of systems.
• Professional front-of-house conduct with guests and crew.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team and run maintenance programmes.
• Provide regular updates to the Chief Officer.
• Maintain onboard equipment and schedules for the 50m yacht.
• Perform guest-facing duties as required and uphold safety standards.

We are looking for an experienced Bosun with 3-4 years previous experience, with strong maintenance skills who can perform professionally infront of guests and crew.

Requirements

• Joining Location: Mediterranean
• Start Date: Within 2 weeks
• Salary: €5000 p/mth
• Leave: TBC
• Experience: 5 years in yachting
• Certifications: OOW or YMO,STCW, ENG1& PWC
• Visas: Schengen
• Personality: Professional, able to put in the hours when required and mature enough to enjoy socialising with the team. Able to lead a team and run projects and maintenance programmes and provide regualr updates to Chief Officer
