Job summary

Yacht Crew Recruitment & Training (YCRT) is seeking an experienced Chief Stewardess for a 90m private/charter yacht, based in Palma, Mallorca. The role requires calm leadership of a large interior team and strong budgeting skills as part of the admin-heavy responsibilities.

The successful candidate will manage approximately 12 interior crew, including Head of Service and Head of Housekeeping, and will participate in a two-two rotation with a competitive starting salary.

Qualifications

• Must have Chief Stewardess experience on a 70m+ yacht.
• Able to manage a team of ~12 interior crew including Heads of Service and Housekeeping.
• Experience with budgeting, financial management and with IDEA and Voly accounts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the interior department on a 90m private/charter vessel.
• Maintain a positive team dynamic and develop performance across the team.
• Oversee budgeting, financial reporting and admin tasks for interiors.
• Ensure continuity and implement thoughtful improvements within the team.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Chief Stewardess to join a busy 90m private/charter M/Y, with a dual-season programme.

• Candidates must have previous Chief Stewardess experience on a 70m+ yacht and be confident managing a large interior team within a busy private and charter programme.
• The successful candidate will manage a team of approximately 12 interior crew, overseeing both the Head of Service and Head of Housekeeping.
• Strong leadership, excellent communication and a mentoring approach are essential, with the ability to build trust, maintain a positive team dynamic and allow department heads to manage their teams effectively.
• This is an admin-heavy role, so experience with budgeting, financial management, IDEA and Voly accounts is essential.
• We are looking for someone who can maintain continuity within the existing team while introducing improvements thoughtfully.
• They are offering full rotation, a starting salary of €7,500 which will increase after a probation period, and split tips.
• This position is to start in the Caribbean early December.
